Carrie Underwood

Last Tuesday (I guess a week ago), my sisters and I went to Carrie Underwood in Yakima.  Mark got us four second row tickets for Christmas - and it was a blast!  We caught a guitar pick (from Billy Curlington's band) and had a great time rockin' out to Carrie.  Granted, I'm no longer the country fan I used to be back in high school....but how can you not have a good time in the second row??  And I like Carrie - her music I can stand. :-)  I couldn't bring in the "good" camera (I guess they don't want me taking awesome shots of Carrie to sell online or something), but I had our point and shoot and it did OK.  By OK, I mean out of the 150+ shots I took there were about 20 good ones and only a few "greats".  But here they are!  Grainy from the high ISO, but good enough for the blog.  Enjoy!

Sons of Slyvia took the stage first...

It's Carrie!  So close you could almost touch her (but I don't think her security guards would've let us).

I'm so bummed this picture is out of focus!  I took one on my phone but haven't uploaded to the computer yet (although it is on Facebook).  This one is just to show how close we were.

Half way through the show she got on this truck that took her out into the crowd high above our heads...it was really cool!  And I don't think she was wearing a harness - at least I couldn't see it!

Oh my goodness!!!  It's Carrie Underwood!

Play On, Carrie!
