Go Lady 'Stangs! This weekend, my dad's team went all the way at State earning the title of State Champs in 2A ladies high school basketball! Their only loss of the entire season was to 5A Couer D'Alene (who took second at Idaho's tourney). It was inspiring to watch them play Friday night and Saturday as they dominated the court. And I love it when Mark (my dad) cries. Follow this link to read a great article & watch a video montage made by the Yakima Herald. Last year they took second and it's their fourth year in a row to make it to the state tournament. The last time they won state was in 1989 (Mark also coached then). Awesome, awesome season. Good job ladies - you earned it!
