Free Kitten

Yup, that's right!  Do you want her?  How could you not, really....she's so cute.  We found her last Sunday wandering around our backyard.  I haven't had time to document this event in our lives via the blog, so I will now in hopes that one of you out there falls in love and adopts her.  :-)

Last Sunday I was washing dishes and looked out the window to see a little tiny kitten.  My immediate reaction was, "we must catch her" because she appeared lost and was too small to make it on her own.  It took us 45 minutes to catch her, 30 of those minutes she was hiding in the engine compartment of a neighbor's car.  We coaxed her out with tuna and milk.  She was hungry!  And very dirty.  We gave her a bath the next day to help clean her and get the fleas off.  In all, I think we picked 25+ fleas off her.  It was sad.

I took her in for a "free kitty check up" last Tuesday (one week ago).  She was sneezing and coughing when we found her.  The vet said she was about six weeks old (so now seven weeks) and gave her antibiotics for the cold.  Currently, she is a healthy, playful, super cute kitten who likes to chase paper and play with the dog.  It took her a few days to warm up to us and to the dogs.  She is still a bit skiddish and will take off if frightened.  However, she is super lovable and likes to cuddle and purrs like crazy!  If you know someone who would like her let me know.  She is free.  And did I say cute?
