We pulled it off. Yesterday we surprised Kristen with a party and about 50 people who came to celebrate her 30th Birthday with her. She was on to us earlier in the week and kept trying to figure it out. At one point I really thought she knew. However, with the help of a good friend and some quick thinking she was totally caught off guard. Fun!
There was quite the spread of food and fun balloons (despite my mom's adversity towards them - the balloons prevailed!). It was a great party and so many people showed up to say Happy Birthday to Kristen. I hope you feel loved, sister! It was all for you!
Check out that spread! Yum, yum. Do you like our watermelon fruit kabob stand? Totally fit for the party!
The surprise crew right before Kristen showed up. Thanks everyone for coming!
Surprise!!!
The birthday girl with her cake. Carrot to be exact. And if you haven't figured it out, purple is her favorite color.
Kristen with Kristina, our accomplice. She was a huge help and saved the day multiple times. Her convincing of Kristen led to the party actually being a surprise. They didn't make it to see The Help yesterday, but movies can wait - surprise parties can not! Thanks, Kristina. :-)
Happy Birthday to a beautiful, confident and adoring sister! I love you, Kristen. May you celebrated today and always by those who love you. We are all blessed to have you in our lives!

That was a lot of fun! I'd love to have a copy of the picture you got of Kristen and I too. :)
Of course! Remind me on Sunday when you are here.
