Happy Birthday to Kelly

Today is my baby sister's birthday.  And she's turning 16.  Just a fair warning to anyone out there. ;-)  Tonight I will get to celebrate with her and our family (sans Steven - he will be at class, blech).  Right now I would like to propose a blog toast - a bloast, to Kelly on her day of birth.

*throat clearing noise*

To Kelly,
May your feet always find their way to God amidst the worldly traps
May your hands always be ready to serve others (and remain at 10 & 2 while driving - always)
May your mouth always speak the truth and delight others with your prose, monologues & insane jokes
May your heart always search for good in others, trust the Lord and flee from evil
May your dreams always be sweet and have happy endings (even if they don't in real life)
May God bless you and keep you all the days of your life
May you never stray far from Him and may you always return humbled and full of grace
And of course, may your nails always be painted & your hair always smell awesome

I love you, Kelly!  You are an incredible person.  I love how you draw others in and make them laugh, how you care for those you love deeply and how ridiculous your stories are.  You rock and I'm incredibly proud to call you my sister.

Now, here to sing you the birthday song, Professor Hans Von Puppet...
