There are many random things I learn from Steven that I would never think of. Take for example slicing strawberries for strawberry shortcake. After asking for his help, my hubby scrutinizes my knife and cutting board, opens the "gadget" drawer and asks me, "Do you think you can slice these with this?" As he holds up an egg slicer. I respond, "No, I don't. But you can try." Well, guess what? It works. Really well. Who knew?

What a great idea! I rarely use the egg slicer to slice eggs but now I will definitely have a use for it.
So I used that to make strawberry topping for the cake when we went to Ver Mulms and I broke the wire thing. :(
Don't worry! I broke Ver Mulms, not ours! ;)
