We leave in four days - yes four days to go to China for 10 days! Are we ready? Well, we will be by Wednesday night. Today we are taking time to make preparations for the trip: last minute shopping, laundry, cleaning, compiling our lists and contacts for while we are there, and trimming Nala's feet! She doesn't get her feet trimmed as much as she needs to and boy were they bad! She didn't want it done and kept trying to hide behind me. Haha. But finally she succumbed (she's a Golden Retriever and created to obey) to Steven's persistence and is currently still enduring the process. Pobrecita.

"Dad, you really don't have to do this, my feet are fine."
"Please don't use the clippers. I hate the clippers."
"Ok, fine. I'll do anything for a little attention."
"Those nail clippers are so LOUD! Between that and mom taking pictures I'm getting really nervous."
"Is that all MY hair? From just ONE foot? I'm a hairy dog!"

I'm so glad Steven does this and we don't have to pay to take her to get a trim. Thanks, honey! Check! One more thing off the list...only like 1500 things left to do before Thursday. :-)

I wish Tinkerbell would let us trim her claws like that. She flips out and it takes both of us to hold her down! Good dog, Nala. :)
