Immune system of steel

I have been impressed so far while being married to Steven that he gets sick at least twice as much as I do.  Around this time last year I had a really nasty cold that turned into a sinus/ear infection - gross.  But that was the last time I was really sick, and before that it had been awhile (food poisoning doesn't count, right?  I mean there's nothing an immune system can do again that!).  Even when I was little I was always that kid that was at school every single day.  I do remember having the flu one time in second or third grade.  I got to stay at my Grandma's and I remember it vividly because I threw up Cheetos (the puffy kind) over and over again.  Now that I recall that memory, eating Cheetos while having the flu is kind of weird, isn't it?  And my sisters, who are in 8th & 9th grade currently, are sick all the time.  Really, they are.  It seems that somone is always throwing up or running a fever or has an sinus infection (one time for nine months!!!).  My mom even states that she doesn't remember Kristen & I ever being sick.  Yup, immune system of steel.

Steven right now is fighting a two week long battle with his lungs.  His lungs are currently winning (and keeping us both up at night).  He went got a humidifier the other day which has helped, and when push comes to shove (I mean, literal shove) he has slept downstairs.  And I don't have a sore throat, runny nose, nothin'.  So thankful!  Not thankful that hubby is sick - but thankful I haven't inherited whatever he has.  It must be all that spinach I ate as a kid.
