Lacking steam....

Ho-hum Tuesday.  It actually wasn't all that ho-hum, but that's how I feel right now!  I didn't even do a Valentine's post.  But like I told the hubby, "every day is Valentine's day so we don't need to get each other anything."  Ha.  And then he bought me flowers.  Love him!

I will tell you that tonight I spent over an hour trying to figure out if the destruction of Babylon described in Jeremiah 50 & 51 is the same as the Babylon in Revelation 17 & 18.  Fun, no?  It's for my Precepts class on Revelation (which is downright awesome), except this week I have been at a loss.  We are finally supposed to be putting pieces together and tonight I was staring at the Word saying, "huh?"  But that's OK.  You pick up what you can and move on.  And I did get some insights and references figured out - I think.  And, like every week I pour over Revelation, I am reminded that our God is sovereign.  There is a time determined for destruction and judgment.  He is in control.  And if I can't figure out which Babylon is which, that's OK.  Because He knows, and well, since He's control I guess that's all that matters!
